Once again the Phoenix Team bring home outstanding results at the 2025 Yorkshire Championships held in Bradford November 8 & 9th.
Starting with our youngest competitor Macy Scott taking to the Trampoline for her very first gala event for 4 years plus gymnasts. Clearly a star for the future showing a very neat routine.
The whole team was made up of the following gymnasts.
Emilia Montiejunaite - Taylor Baker - Martha Harris - Jessica Baines - Olivia Smith -
Tabitha Edmondson - Zoe Clarkson - Daisy May Andrews - Miah Wood - Layla Sharp - Skye Turner - Iris Bulmer - Mack Innes - Casey Saxton - Bertie Walker - Alivia North - Belle Bailey - Macy Scott.
Emilia Montiejunaite & Taylor Baker both winning Silver medals in the Elite categories of the competition in their respective individual categories with extremely neat routines, posting high execution scores with above average time of flight. Both gymnasts showing experience and good control on the Trampoline well done to both gymnasts.
Emilia then also took a bronze medal individually in the womens open category as well as then heading up the women's open team. This was with teammates Skye Turner - Iris Bulmer and Martha Harris, all contributing in taking a further Bronze medal. fantastic girls well done.
Miah Wood and Layla Sharp in their first time competing together in the synchronised elite category taking the silver medal was fantastic to witness.
Lovely timing as they both performed incredibly well together, great work girls.
Martha Harris took the intermediate Yorkshire Title bouncing very high and neat, lovely to watch, well deserved.
Teammate Jessica Baines competing in the 15+ category with large numbers placed in 10th place, Jess performed a really lovely routine bouncing high and holding her own. Well done Jess.
In the team events in the intermediate categories
The bronze medals went to
Martha Harris - Layla Sharp & Zoe Clarkson
In 5th place we had
Tabitha Edmondson - Daisy May Andrews - Olivia Smith
This was a very tough competition with 40 competitors and 10 teams.
Our Phoenix gymnasts really had to pull out all the stops to ensure they all satyed on the Trampoline and gave 100 % completition.
They certainly did that congratulations to you all girls great job.
Alivia North earned herself a silver medal in the Novice mixed category with a lovely routine followed by teammate Casey Saxton taking the Bronze medal also bouncing very well congratulations to both gymnasts. Let's hope this has kick started you both with a positive start to the season.
Iris Bulmer placing 6th in her first elite Trampoline competition which is an excelent result with teammate Miah Wood pacing in 7th. Both Gymnasts working at the highest level and pushing up the ranks with force in the 9-10 category.
Skye Turner placing 11th in the 11-12 category posting a new score in her new Voluntary routine. Very proud of you Skye, completing two new skills and you nailed every routine, well done.

Belle Bailey placed in 4th just missing out on a bronze medal, outstanding routines for a first time at the Yorkshire Championships against a large category.
Belle also finished in 3rd place for the Team event with her teammates Mack Innes and Bertie Walker great job all three of you working hard to complete your routines with good execution.
It was a very long Weekend, I would like to thank all the gymnasts parents coaches Judges and officials for all your hard work and support.
It is great to have some newly qualified judes as well, congratulations to Taylor Baker and Rebecca Lockwood for completing their Level 1 Judging awards.
